Lynne Johns retires after 29 years with GM

Accounts department leading lady Lynne Johns has worked her last day following 29 years of dedication to GM. Lynne used to live next door to CEO Dave Vooght when he took over GM in 1988. Dave asked Lynne to help him with the accounts for the business, which in those days involved mostly collecting receipts and keeping simple books. Twenty-nine years later and the business is now a multi-million pound enterprise and Lynnes watched it grow and flourish from day one. In fact until 4 years ago Lynne was the only person in accounts.

Nigel Collins, Joint CEO said “I am very upset to see such a lovely, hard working woman leave. I would like to wish her every happiness with her retirement”.
