The Citroen Spacetourer Monterey 6 is a clever and practical solution for drivers looking to transfer from their wheelchair and drive. Press the button on the key fob and the powered tailgate and ramp open up. Manoeuvre your way into the vehicle and another touch on the key fob will close the tailgate and ramp behind you. Getting behind the wheel is a case of transferring from your powerchair to the drivers seat which is made easy with the 6 Way seat. As the name suggests the seat lift can move in 6 directions; up, down, forward, backward as well as rotate left to right. This means that you can bring the seat backwards, rotate it to face the inside of the car and set to your desired height. Basically, you move the seat into an optimal position for you to transfer to and from your wheelchair. Once seated you have the luxury of using the controls to position yourself exactly as you like.
